There is a massive buzz around UK about the new model of Civic from Honda. To me it looks like a space craft to be honest. I prefer the old shaped Civics that these space crafts to be honest. Honda cars are manufactured in Japan and are meant to be one of the most reliable and powerful cars. Honda are always the biggest manufacturer of motorbikes and nowadays they are one of the top five car companies. They have recently surpassed Chrysler to become the fourth largert automobile manufacturer.
This is really a positive movement for the Japanese manufacturer because most of the market is taken by German and American manufacturers. Now they are in the mix. I will be talking about the Honda civic model because in America the civic is the second longest running nameplate from a Japanese manufacturer after Toyota Corolla which was introduced in 1968. So you can see how far Honda has gone. I still prefer the older version of old Civic models to be honest more than the new Civic models.
Though both of these models are easy to drive but the new models are more powerful than the old obviously, but I don’t like the shape. Honda are an economical car and on top of that Type R version of Civic does 0-60mph in 6.5 seconds. My local garage came to me and asked me to write a review on this car and also do a test drive on the new model. I have written several car reviews in the past and for the first I have no negativity to write about this car. It is brilliant to drive. The handling in awesome. As I mentioned earlier on how fast the car is, the pick up speed feels like you are dropping from a rollercoaster. When you press the acceleration it actually surprises you on how fast it actually is. There are two cars I have loved driving one was the GT model of Alfa Romeo cars and now it’s Civic.
