Les Schwartz: This is the second in a series of articles designed to help those of you trading in your IRAs to trade like pros. While the charts use my DecisionBar software to illustrate certain points, the concepts discussed are universal. They work for stocks, futures, forex or any true market. We all know that you can’t go short in an IRA. What many people don’t know is that there are certain Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) that are designed to rise and fall inversely to the rise and fall of the market, index or sector they represent. There are even ETFs and Bear ETFs for currencies. These “Bear ETFs” can be traded and analyzed just like stocks.
