When the summer comes several people are looking to go on luxury cruises. A lot of people are going for a cruise to Caribbean, South America and Caribbean. In UK the weather has been pretty good this year and it surely looks like we will be having a great summer. People are still looking to go on holidays during the summer even though UK is having a good summer. It has become a habit because of terrible summers previously.
The recent research from the cruise lines shows that, there are more volume of people going for a Caribbean cruise than any other cruise. The recent research done by few cruise lines such as silversea cruises, Royal Caribbean Cruises and fred olsen cruises shows the favourite destination for many people is the Caribbean. And in second it is the Mediterranean cruise.
These cruise lines have luxurious cruises. With outstanding service from their friendly staff. You will have a great journey getting to the Caribbean and it greater journey getting back home. For retail therapy there are some mini shopping centres where you can enjoy shopping and you can enjoy few drinks is few cocktails bars they have. The scenes of sunset and sunrise is magnificent to watch.
Islands in the Caribbean are famous for luxurious resorts and beaches along with the rum. Hence why people choose to go to the Caribbean islands for a luxurious break. Just imagine you being under the warm sun, next to the sea relaxing on the sandy beach with rum cocktail in my hand. But unfortunately I have work but I do plan to go there on a cruise next year. I actually was in St.Vincent (one of the Caribbean islands) few years ago for my friend’s wedding. St.Vincent is where the movie Pirates of the Caribbean was made. I had a great time with his friends and family and I didn’t feel like coming back.

I’ve been lucky enough to travel in many different continents and countries throughout my life. Having experienced great moments of awe and admiration towards the nature’s miracles. From the mighty Iguacu Waterfalls in the borders of Brazil, Argentina and Paraguy to the breath taking site of Machu Pichu and from the solitude of Sahara to the deep blue of the Aegean Sea my eyes have seen so much and my senses have experienced even more.
However, if I ever had the chance to pick up one particular moment out of all those moments I would choose the time as I spent in Egypt with a river trip in the Nile being the ultimate highlight. it is impossible to put into words all those emotions and that great energy of the powerful river that used to be as sacred as the Sun. Until that day I wasn’t keen on river cruises as they didn’t seem fun to me.
Being a typical sea-born person I wouldn’t expect to feel so good anywhere far from the sea. Although I had spent some years of my life living in Budapest and Prague that were built in the Danube’s banks, I was never amazed by any river until that day.
During my travel in Egypt I met a very interesting American guy that was an expert in cruise deals and convinced me that we should picked one up. As he said, you may have only one chance in life for some experiences which was enough to make me give in. There were so many tour operators selling Nile River Cruises at Aswan that buying one didn’t take us more than 10-15 minutes.
And what an experience it was, travelling in the mighty river Nile. Because of its proximity to the Mediterranean Sea there is a similar atmosphere. Just the thought that we were traversing the world’s longest river made me shiver and think of how many people’s lives were depending on that river which stretches all the way from Egypt to Ethiopia. So intense was the experience I had that it makes no wonder why ancient Egyptians worship had the Nile at its center.
